It's true, we have finally reached that amazing milestone. For two whole months we will only have one child in diapers. We were really afraid we'd have three!

Most advice to me was to just wait until she decided she was ready, so that's what I did for a very long time. When we hadn't had any success and I had a calm week in January I decided that it was time!

I hid most of her remaining diapers and told her that when the diapers ran out she would have to wear underpants, she said ok (amazingly). Then came the part I was dreading: several days wearing underpants and not using the toilet. We didn't leave the house. Then Lauren figured the whole thing out and after a few more days she wasn't having accidents anymore!!

Now instead of changing smelly diapers we are under the command of a three-year-old size bladder. I think this is an improvement. At least we don't have to buy so many diapers.
