 Greasy Burritos
by
Trying to save money and time, I bought a couple of cases of Tina's Beef, Bean and Green Chili burritos last month and stuck them in the freezer at work. Unfortunately, all 15 grams of fat per burrito are manifest in liquid form after being nuked. Today, I fought to get and keep my lunch down for the last time. Despite the freezer full of these frozen treats, I am renouncing them for good.

 60 years and still together
by
My grandparents, L. Arden and Clara B. Johnson celebrated their 60th (diamond jubilee) wedding aniversary today. To those of us newlyweds, these not-so-newlyweds are great examples of making a marriage last. We've scanned in the portrait they had taken to mark the occasion.

 Dillenbeck Wedding
by
Tom and Julie have tied the knot. The wedding was beautiful, and a fun time was had by all, even J, who was very sick and barely survived the day. Lauren did her best to steal attention from the bride and groom with her cute outfits and smile. Hopefully pictures will follow on their website.

 Camping with the Scouts
by
After a long, but fun, week, J is back from Boulder Mountain where he and 11 Varsity and Venturing Scouts played. Activities included riding bikes from the summit down either side of the mountain (thank goodness for the trailers to haul boys/bikes back up!), hiking in Capitol Reef National Park and elsewhere, swimming, fishing, Rook, Hearts and drinking Country Time Lemonade.

 Ladybug Art
by
Well, here goes nothing... I set up Ladybug Art and have advertised it a bit. It is temporarily on a GeoCities page - don't tell Joel, he's not a big fan :). Hopefully I'll get some visitors that are interested in having some graphics made! If you'd like to visit my page, you can find it at www.geocities.com/ladybug_art.

 Ladybug Art
by
I am working on a website to attract more customers to my graphic art "business". So we're testing it out here. The forms still need programming (they only sort of work), but please look around the site and let us know what you think. Any and all opinions and suggestions are welcomed, even with the name, Ladybug Art.

 Backpacking
by
We went on a short backpacking trip to celebrate the end of spring term. This was Lauren's first camping trip and she really enjoyed it! I carried the baby and Dad carried everything else!

 New Job!
by
I accepted a position as an Embedded Systems Programming Engineer for a small company called Adept Systems, Inc. I'm really excited about what they're doing and think I'll be a good fit -- except for being about the only one with no graduate degree. :-)

 Goodbye Caldera
by
I was laid off from Caldera and am looking for a new job. It was a fun job, and we wish Caldera well, especially so that we don't have to hide from "friends and family" who never sold their stock. :-(

 Winter Semester is Over!
by
I am done with finals for the semester. I got a couple of A's and a B. Next up: Spring term
